Voilà, je tiens déja a vous remercier pour les conseils que vous m'avez
donné sur le iMac.
Je sais déjà qu'un G5 est un Motorola et que les nouveau iMac sont à
base d'Intel, et c'est ce dernier qui m'intéresse.
Je pencherais plus pour un modèle 20", voir 24" avec 2 Go de Ram.
J'ai eu l'occasion de tester Mac OS 10.4.8 sur mon PC ce WE, en passant
par VMware (virtualisation).
Et je dois dire que je reste avec une impression de .... vide !
En effet, ça me donne l'impression d'un Linux (BSD en fait) auquel on
aurais ajouté une interface sympa, mais l'ensemble fait ... basic.
Je me suis baladé dans les menus et les paramètres, et je trouve ça
assez simpliste.
Attention, je ne suis pas là pour critiquer Mac OS, car je pense y
passer bientôt, mais je voulais savoir si ça venait de moi ?
Y a t'il beaucoup de logiciels pour Mac, car j'ai trouvé quelques
FreeWare ou Shareware, mais peu de logiciels commerciaux (ou alors j'ai
mal cherché)
Mon utilisation sera surtout :
- Surf : j'ai trouvé Safari assez simpliste), je sais qu'il existe
Firefox pour Mac.
- Mail : Pareil pour Mail, je ne l'ai pas trouvé aussi complet qu'un
Thunderbird.
- Chat : iChat ne gère que Yahoo et MAC, j'ai vu qu'il existait MSN pour Mac
- iCal : bof ...
- iTunes : sans doute le meilleur que j'ai vu
Etc ...
ALors pour le moment je reste réservé, et je vais peut être attendre
Leopard pour voir ce qu'il apporte.
