En fait c'est ni l'un ni l'autre. C'est une bague de zoom
qui commande un moteur:
"The zoom is driven by a tiny ultrasonic motor (USM). The motor uses ultrasonic
frequency vibrations to drive a tiny rotor which is powerful and highly
responsive, delivering fast and precise zoom control. The motor's good holding
torque also allows the zoom to be stopped quickly, accurately and firmly at the
required zoom position."

Donc pas un vrai zoom manuel.

Non, c'est très loin d'être suffisant, puisque le capteur est très
bruité dès le départ. Un reflex à ISO 400 est moins bruité que le 828 à
ISO 64 ...

beaucoup moins piqué aussi ..

Pour ça, il suffit de regarder le numéro de février de Chasseur d'Images.
