Sachant que ma Debian tourne sur 4× moins de ressources que ça et en

Windows 7 ne tourne pas en mode dégradé à moins de 4 Go de RAM :
La preuve avec ma machine sous Windows qui est une machine de fin de

Cet indice de performance est basé sur l'élément le plus faible, en
l’occurrence le chipset graphique intégré à la carte mère avec mémoire
partagée ... Toutefois, comme tu le constateras dans les programmes
épinglés dans la barre des tâches, cela me permet tout de même d'aller
sur internet, de lire les mails et les news, de lire les contenus
multimédia (Windows Media Player et VLC), de traiter les images
(Photofiltre) et de créer des documents bureautiques (Libre Office)

Et pour info je fais exactement la même chose avec mon Thinkpad T42 de
2002, avec 768Mo de SDRAM, 40Go de DD en IDE, un Intel Pentium M à
600Mhz et une ATI Radeon Mobility 9600.
Soit entre 4 et 10× moins de ressources que ton PC…
